Walhout Civil achieves ISO 9001:2015 certification

Since May, the services and quality management system of Walhout Civil is fully ISO 9001: 2015 certified. After external audits by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Ltd. the quality system has been reviewed, based on the NEN-EN-ISO 9001: 2015 standard.

For the international assurance, the certificate is multilaterally accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service. The certificate can be downloaded here.

An important step

Achieving the ISO certification is another important step for Walhout Civil. "We have been working for years with our quality management system and the ISO 9001: 2015 certification is a confirmation of the quality we provide to all our customers, every day. We involve our customers in the process and we always try to achieve high customer satisfaction. In order to improve our services, we train our engineers by providing education and training courses, and in the future we will continue to invest in improving our organization and focusing on our customers. " said director Jan Walhout.

ISO 9001:2015

In order to meet the ISO 9001:2015 standard, a company must demonstrate adherence to a Quality Management System that outlines good business practices and ensures consistency in providing products and services that meet customer and applicable industry requirements.

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:
a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and
b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
